So, earlier this week my dorm had open dorm night. It is a dorm night where the boys can go into our dorm rooms. Well, unfortunately, I was in class the whole time, but, sammie still went to my dorm room. I was in class bored texting him when I had the splendid idea to ask him to draw something for my room. He texted me back asking, "write on your walls?". Anywho, I get out of class and race to my room hoping to still see him there. I get to the door and open it. What do I see? Sleepies

Well, today was my second day back to school after springbreak. KAUAI! haha. Im soooo very tired at the moment because I just got out of a three hour class. Grrrr. I mean, it was interesting, dont get me wrong, but come on! Three hours! haha. Thats what i get in order to have four day weekends. Yes, you heard (read) me right. FOUR GLORIOUS DAYS OF..............FREEEEEDOM! Anywho, random things of late:

• Cameron Arana the Pink Pirana will be visiting me. :)
• My papita's birthday will be on the second of April.......so will cameron's
• Melissa may be visiting riverside
• Sammie dearest will be taking me to six flags down here. :)
• Sammie is a cutie and got me tacobell while I was in a four hour class yester day and left it outside my classroom and texted me to go get it. He was nowhere to be found.. (i was SUPER starving during class and texting him)
• I think that Mila Jovovich is incredibly hot.
• I also really want to start excersising/getting fit/dancing again.
• For the past two days ive only eaten vegetables. Thats how lame our cafe is.
• I only ate cucumber for two meals today.
• Ive learned that my school brain shuts off at around 8 every night. Idk how im going to handle night classes. :D

Long time no see....

Well, hasn't it been a while? Life has been rather busy for me since I moved out of my parents and now attend college eight hours away. The following is the major changes/things ive learned:

• I truly and deeply now know the meaning of a starving college student
• One of my daily decisions are yucky cafeteria food vs. sleep (sleep usually wins)
• Relationships and love are tricky things
• Alone time is a valuable treasure
• Procrastiantion is my middle name
• Adventures keep me going
• I can sleep anywhere at basically anytime
• Cars are not comfy places to sleep, but the people in them make up for it
• Quarentine is probably the most terrifying movie i have ever watched
• Free time is cherished but has another name, sleep
• Responsibility is a must whether or not I want to admit it
• Im a slightly very unemotional person
• Depression is something that isn't always noticable untill friends point it out
• Telling myself "Today is a good day" usually gives me a good day
• I will forever love my little rosie the rivetor and mourn red
• I believe in miracles.....

Soreness, Stress, & Sister

Woah, I havent blogged in forever! Well, little update.....Idk. Life has been good. Ive just been incredibly stressed lately. Its nearing the end of the quarter! Hooray! I can't wait to get home to my family, friends, and especially home to Tristan. I miss him SOOO much. Insanely much. I didn't think it was possible. lol. I am continuously amazed by how are relationship is growing. :) I love it. Anyways, yesterday was my AMAZING sister's birthday!! I had tristan get her flowers from me and suprise her. :) I hope she enjoyed it! Also yesterday, I went on an all day, well almost all day, sabbath hike. We hiked up a mountain. Ugh! So long. lol. It was nice to get out and appreciate nature though. Plus, the air was semi-clean. It was exhausting though. Several times I thought I was going to die! haha. I am so out of shape. Anyways, I am extremely sore now. Soooo sore. No fun. Well, that's all for now. On friday I will be flying back home for thanksgiving week! Love you guys! Miss you babe.

frustrated

wow, so i havent blogged in a bit! here's a quick update:

• I am now in my fifth week and midpoint of the quarter. (I want it to be over)
• My sister, boyfriend, and friend came to visit me.
• My boyfriend completely suprised me.
• I went roller skating, saw Whip It, and now want to roller derby-it up.
• I gave my boyfriend something that means the world to me. (my bracelet I havent taken off for a year and a half)
• Midterms coming up.
• The weather is getting colder.
• I enjoy tuesday tunes but Garrett's head is in the clouds due to a certain volleyball player.

Okay, so now for my frustration! haha. People here are starting to make me mad. Ugh. I guess people have been talking about me behind my back. Who knew?! I thought they were my friends! Anyways, I guess they think im a big flirt? Idk. I dont think I am at all. Its just that once im comfortable around you, Im comfortable. I dont treat them any differently then my guy friends back home, and everything I do I'd do infront of tristan. They just think way too much of the little things. For an example, I am freezing cold, I ask if anyone will let me use their jacket. Logical right? But noooooo, it means Im flirting and i like them. Stupid. Im just kinda super fed up right now with the whole situation. It feels like its middle school again. And it hurts to know that people are talking about me behind my back. Grow the balls to say it to my face! Oh, and my supposed "friends" keep telling my roomate stuff to tell me. Seriously? Just have enough respect to say it to my face. Idk. Im really frustrated at the moment. I never ever meant for people to get the wrong ideas from my actions. My roomie thinks they just dont understand me or my humor and they're thinking more of it then they should. So I guess now every time I talk to a guy, which is all the time because the girls dont talk to me, people are saying "oooh. Look. she's flirting with a new guy". Ugh. Just because it's soooooo freakin dificult to make girl friends here doesnt mean peopel should judge me when i mostly have just guy friends. They're more friendlier and less complicated. Usually. AND, to top everything off, I found out why one of my favorite guy friends has been basically completely avoiding me. He's into me. agghhhh. Don't avoid me because of that. So, sorry to blurt out all of my frustration here but I cant really say it anywheres else. :/

HMA tuesday adventures

Last night, according to Israel, it was tuesday adventures (he claims that every tuesday we are going to go on an adventure together). Anyways, it started off that he wanted to talk to me about something. So, we went on a walk and sat down outside. Then, we decided to go off on an adventure. Well, we ended up going to HMA, the music building, into their big auditorium. It was super dark so we just layed out on the stage and talked. But then, they started locking up the building so we had to run out. haha. It wasn't that adventurous, but it was still fun. :)

Weekend

So, this weekend was a usual one. Friday Fruyus, then first service. After, that I went to sleep basically right away. Well, after talking to people right after first service. My roomie stayed up to celebrate John's birthday! He turned 19 on friday. Then, on saturday I went to sabbath school and church. After that, I napped. :) Later, me and a bunch of friends layed out on a blanket as usual and talked and ate. Mmmm. That night liz came and a group of us went to the beach for a bit. It was an interesting experience.....I made a decision that I now regret in a way. I did something I shouldnt have and im not proud of it. But, I dealt with my bad decision already and im trying to put it behind me. Im just really disappointed in myself. Idk. I regret it and I dont at the same time. Anyways, on sunday, I basically slept all day and played piano. lol. Oh, on the beach, my awesome amazing friend Josh played a song for me. Check it out:

So, yesterday was boring, but last night we went over to Garretts house for dinner. :) It was fun. Isreal took us (me and ale) over there and back. I LOVE his house. Its sooo nice. And the decor is amazing. Im proud of him and the guys he lives with. Oh, and he can cook. Then, we came back to the dorms and studied for an hour or two. After that, me and ale headed over to the boys dorm as usual. We chilled on the couches with josh, budge, and isreal. :) Mucho fun. Isreal supposedly thinks im quiet. Surrreee.......haha. He's a funny kid. Oh, and he insisted on walking us back to our dorm rooms. According to him its just too dangerous. Boy you've never been to my town at night? haha. Anyways, Today should be fun. Its two months with me and tristan today. :) BUT, i havent heard from him since sunday. :/ it makes me sad. Ive even texted him. Ugh. Oh well. Tonight im going midnight bowling. Maybe I can get Isreal to drive me. Hopefully. Or josh. :)

top of the world

Tonight, after tuesday tunes, my new found amigo, Isreal took me and some friends to the top of the world. :) It was super fun and random. He's a pretty amazingly cool guy. ahaha. Anyways, tomorrow will be another day of school and that night will be tuesday tunes club meeting at Garrett's house (thanks to me and ale) he's cooking us dinner. :D

This weekend has been funnish. Friday, I mostly just cleaned and went shopping after school. Joshy, my tenth husband :), took me and ale. Friday night I went to first service. It was nice. A lot better than church. Saturday I went to sabbath school. Then, I chilled outside on a blanket with ale, nate, and josh. We all ended up falling asleep. It was a SUPER nice and needed nap. Then, me and ale got ready for that night. We wanted to look super cute. After we were done we left with pono, josh, and nate along with a car full of other boys I dont remember their names to an open mike cafe. Pono performed. It was a lot of fun but I was exausted and super cold. Then, later that night we all chilled at angwin, my dorm. Sunday, we decorated our dorm room for a contest (we won first place with a prize of $20 target giftcards!), had a photoshoot with JR, and studied. Well, not really studied.....we ended up going to the boys dorm to study,we find ourselves there often. Pono was going to help us with bible, but.....we ended up going out to eat with pono, josh, and steve. Haha. Then, when we got back, steve wanted to teach Israel how to dance salsa. So, a group of us (me, ale, steve, israel, andrew, and sometimes josh) all danced untill 1 in the morning! Soooooo much fun! I hadn't danced in a long time. We also merengued, salsa'd, tangoed, slow waltzd, and cha-cha'd. Super exciting. :) We are going to start doing that regularly.

why do we do this to ourselves?

So, my weekend was actually really nice! :) Only bummer is that my mom left and I feel like there was some unspoken issue between us. :/ It makes me sad, I didnt want anyone to leave me with any ill feelings whatsoever. BUT, I did enjoy my weekend. Saturday, I went to the beach! It was sooo nice. :) I made new friends: Kelli, John, Johnathen, Mark, Paul, David, and I cant remember the last guys name......lol. Well, they taught me how to play volleyball. Crazy, huh? I never thought I would put myself out of my comfort zone like that. I felt accomplished and supposedly I did good for my first time. I enjoyed it because everyone was soooo nice and super supportive. They never ever said anything to hint that I was doing horrible. Then, liz came saturday night! :D We had good fun and talks. She stayed untill sunday early evening. Me her and my roomie spent the day together. :) Well, that's all for now. OH! I stayed up till 2:20 last night. Ugh. Idk why. I was just really not tired. PLUS, I didnt even do ANY homework. Horrible I know. Instead I webcamed with cameron. lol. haha. We finally decided to go to sleep because I had class today at 8 and needed to get up early to study and do hw, and he needed to get up at 5. Why did we do that? ahaha. And my roomie stayed up a little later than me! I think its just a college thing. We seriously do not mean to stay up that late. Happy Birthday Danny and Kristina! :)

first week of school

So, I haven't had much time to blog lately. BUT, I will now update you with the happenings of my week starting from sunday.

Sunday: We left our hotel and went to LSU to unload and move me in. I was slightly flustered just because it seemed like there was soooo much to do. But, I moved in and found out that people were leaving in 15 minutes. AH! So soon. It made me slightly panicky. I wasn't ready to say goodby to tristan. :/ But we had to. So I said goodbye to everyone and went back to my dorm room. No tears.

Monday: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! haha. It was early start! 8 am Jesus class. The day was crazy. I fell asleep in my second class, then came back to my room to take a nap and slept 20 minutes into my next class. I was soooo mad at myself.

Tuesday: Went to classes. I really like my war crimes and international policy class. It reminds me of my favorite class back at my old college. THEN, that night me and my roomie alejandra went to tuesday tunes. Its an activity at school where bands/people come and perform. Mmmm. It was sooo fun. I highly recomend you check out noah gundersen. He is amazing. Amazingly good looking. :P Oh! and I made a friend. Garrett. He's a pretty awesome guy. He's the one who puts on tuesday tunes and he's a senior. Pretty nice too. So, after tuesday tunes, me and ale hanged out with matt and jr. Fun. :)

Wednesday: Ugh. Another day of school....Im already counting down the days till christmas break. lol. Tonight, I went to worship. It's called 4th down. It was pretty awesome. And, afterwards, me and some new found friends went out. haha. At like midnight. We got some horchata. Nasty horchata actually. But just getting away from the college was super nice. Im starting to feel like I fit in just a little bit more. BUT, I missing tristan. :/ So many little things remind me of him......

Thursday: School.......First quiz. :/ AND, convocation. I got to see all of the LSU students get together. Super awesome. After my last class was over ale called me and said that her and josh were going to fruyus (a frozen yogurt place) and they invited me to go. :) It was soooo yummy. And definitly was my lunch. :D After that, it was luau time! Welcome back luau. At first it was boring, but then more friends started showing up. There was blow up games, polynesian dancing, food, and music. I signed up to be in the polynesian club! :) Im soooo excited. Later that night, all my friends randomly went on the obstical course that was all wet with a pool at the end. Soooooo awesomly fun. And me and ale even got garrett to go! haha. He's hilarious. And, he's going to cook me and ale dinner sometime! He lives off campus. Unfortunately, back at the room I started missing tristan a TON. Aghhh. I know for a fact I can do this whole long distance thing, but i dont enjoy it at all. :/

Friday: Today was my last day of classes this week! Im done with my first week of school now! :) Well, I will be cleaning, doing laundry, and organizing things today. Later on, me and my friends might go to some block party or something. Not really sure. But supposedly kid cudi will be there. So that should be interesting. :)

Wow. Im finally here. Its insane thinking about it. I dont really think that it has hit me yet. But I have a feeling it will after this week. Well, let me start from the beggining. My trip down was very interesting. We almost died. But, everything turned out perfectly fine. My roomate is super nice. :) Her name is Alejandra, Ale for short. I think that if I hangout with her a lot Ill loose my meannes. haha. My room is bigger than I thought it would be and I only have to share the bathroom with my roomie and bathmates (the girls nextdoor). So, being without tristan hasnt hit me too hard yet. BUT, in class this morning, the teacher made a comment like, "all of us have had to do a lot to get here with money, and leaving loved ones behind". Ahhhhh. That one got me. Right in the middle of Jesus class. At 8 in the morning. lol. But besides that, Ihavent gotten homesick. I can't wait till people visit me though! It'll be great. :)

50th post. Hoooray!

Ahahahha. I dont know if I should be proud that its only my 50th post. But, I am. :) Well, this weekend it has been only me and papi at home. My mama and sister went to a leadership conference with my church. I can't believe that it was my last weekend home! Insane. Well, friday I spent mostly home doind chores and scholarships. But, I did go over to kara's to visit for a bit. She gave me a massage. :) She's in massage therapy school. I very much enjoyed it. I think that has to be some of the coolest homework ever. Later, me and my dad went out to dinner at rubios. Mmmmm. Delicious. I got nachos grande. Then I went home and chilled. Saturday, me and my dad only went to the sermon at church, we didnt make it to sabbath school. After church, I was talking to Eli for a while. I had NOOOOO clue he knew I had a boyfriend! Oh my goodness. Slightly awkward. But, he is completely hilarious so we were joking around like crazy. He told me to bring tristan to church. Idk.....It's kinda weird having a boyfriend from a different religion, just becuase he wont understand a lot of the reasoning behind why I do what I do. Hard to explain. Anyways, after that I went home and watched a movie with my dad. That night, me and my friends went out bowling! Finally! lol. We've been trying to do that for months! hahaha. It was me, kara, her boyfriend christopher, tiana, her boyfriend canyon, and canyon's coworker patrick. I had fun. :) I just wished tristan couldve been there. Oh well. But that night, I heard news about a friend that I didnt like. Im not going to name names, but she has really changed. :( Im worried for her. && The stuff she does makes me want to be mad at her and call her names, but I just think that there's something wrong with her. She spread some really bad stuff about my other good friend to loads of people. Anyways, on a happier note, me and joanna (alisa's mom), are going to go see her at her boarding school! Im sooooooo happy! I thought I wouldnt be able to see alisa before I leave. THIS FRIDAY!

Well, lets see.....the last time I wrote anything was about the beach. Wow. That seems so long ago. Anyways, Thursday I went to the state fair and had a lovely time. Mmmm. We had chocolate candies and shaved ice. Classic. Then, on friday, well, I cant remember what I did friday so that must mean it wasnt too interessting. Saturday was a usual church day, then my family went to my hayward hispanic half's babyshower party. My cousin is having another little guy. :) He's supposed to be born September 18th. The day I leave for college. Which is supprisingly in 10 days. Crazy, huh? Anyways, the babyshower was okay. And I got to take pictures with family which was nice. :) Sunday I went out to breakfast for my friends birthday. :D She turned 19! Then Cameron Arana the pirana came over. lol. I havent seen him in ages. Well, more like a week. haha. Anyways, after.....my mom supprised me and my family took me on a trip! They kidnapped me! lol. She wouldn't say where we were going. Turns out we were going on a beach one night trip. And me and my sister stayed at a hostel with a lighthouse. Super cool. Unfortunately, I was really out of it for some reason. :/ Then on monday driving home, we stopped off at ikea and bought a ton of dorm room stuff. I am now super excited to go. Im ready. Definitly ready. I'll just miss tristan a ton, but ill survive. Speaking of that boy.....Its one month for us today. Hahaha. I feel silly being all excited about that, but I am. :) But, I havent seen the dork in a while. :/ Last night, Lizzie spent the night and we stayed up watching tv/movies, eating ice cream and popcorn, and talking till 3. :) Super nice. Well, off to a good day today. Hopefully. :)

Yesterday, I went to the beach with liz and her family, her younger brother's friends, and tristan. :) It was fun! But, unfortunatly, it wasn't very warm. Though it made for good cuddling wrapped up in a blanket with tristan. :) I LOVE the beach. I wish i could live on one & just listen to the waves all day. Soooo relaxing. Anyways, today I am going to the state fair with the family. Hooray. Oh! And counting days, I have 15 till I move to university! Im getting super excited. :D
